The meeting
The aerodrome in the town of Temora was used during WW11 for training. It is entirely possible that an Australian-made Boomerang fighter, such as the one just starting in the foreground, Wirraway trainer (RHS) and Kittyhawk (LHS) may have met like this then ... but this is edited from an image taken at an airshow held there a few years ago (see insert). Temora now has an excellent flying aircraft museum. www.youtube.com/watch?v=He38LYmBvFw
