Alviso

I'm going to post a few pix this week from our exploratory visit to Alviso, CA, a former fishing town, now a surreal, sleepy corner of hi-tech silicon valley. It is at the edge of a series of former salt ponds, now being restored to wetlands habitat. I've always been curious about those ponds which from the air look like a mosaic of deep red, yellow, green and blue tiles.
