late c20 quinlan terry pastiche in regent's park, built from 1989 onwards; no doubt fun to design, but somehow taking themselves a little too seriously, and not helped by the slightly tacky garden settings, looking more than a bit nouveau riche. the tall metal fences between gardens and canal take away from much of the point of waterside living
