Canal-side area in Castlefield with the Beetham Tower in the distance. This area has been greatly improved and now has many desireable appartments. It is also close to the Science and Industry Museum.

A view of the Beetham Tower from the Deansgate tram (Metrolink) station. It was finished in 2006, is Manchester's tallest building at 169 metres (554 Feet) and has 48 floors. It was designed by Ian Simpson and is the UK's 7th tallest building.
