Hey Joe. Me casé con la chica de tez blanca y pelo rubio ceniza el 08-08-1970. Comprometimos luna de miel en Mallorca y Alicante con agencia de Bilbao. Al poco de llegar Palma de Mallorca, preguntamos por la mejor sala de fiestas de la isla y no informaron que había una muy buena en El Pueblo Español; Sgt. Peppers y esa noche estuvimos allí. Yo desconocía quien era Jimi Hendrix, pero mi esposa algo sabía, que nos unió los discos de Elvis Presley. Sí, allí bailamos una noche loca en la que actuaba en directo Hendrix. Al ver tu foto, he llamado a mi mujer y me ha recordado aquella noche. Hemos buscado en Internet y hemos encontrado informaciones, te facilito una en cajetín “añadir", aunque tendrás que traducirla. Te mandaré otra y contaré más aparte.

"Hey Joe", fue uno de sus títulos. Quizá tiene algo que ver en Ipernity con Joe, Son of the Rock. De modo que estuvimos en una actuación de Hendrix un mes antes de su fallecimiento. Lee, supongo que te gustará:

I remember some of pals bunked off school to travel to the Isle of Wight to see Jimi. They asked me if I wanted to come. I said, "No, I will wait till he comes to Glasgow." Sadly, he never did.

I called myself 'Son of the Rock' as people, like myself, are called 'Sons and Daughters of the Rock' after Dumbarton Rock, atop which sits Dumbarton Castle.

No le dio tiempo a actuar en Glasgow, falleció pronto, a los 28 creo. Sí recuerdo ver en tus fotos el famoso castillo de Dumbarton y que estaba sobre un gran tolmo o roca gigante. Ah! Ahora comprendo “Son” es hijo, "of the Rock” de la Roca. De modo que no era por el Rock -música- que yo pensé sino por la Roca de tu pueblo. Tengo pendiente ampliar información.
