Craigtoun Country Park is a country park located approximately 2 miles to the south-west of St Andrews in the county of Fife, Scotland. The site is currently owned by Fife Council, with park amenities being operated as of 2012 by the charitable organisation Friends of Craigtoun Park

Craigtoun's History
The Mount Melville Estate, originally called Craigtoun, was one of the many Melville family estates, first established in 1698 for General George Melville of Strathkinness. In the late 18th Century, General Robert Melville undertook much of the landscaping in the park; an account from 1790 mentions the purchase and planting of 230 trees.
