Blackfriars in the Rain

South Street, St Andrews

Blackfriars is the modern name for the Dominican friary of St Mary which existed in St Andrews, Scotland, in the later Middle Ages. The name is also used for the modern ruins. Quoted from Wikipedia

Amelia ^club

And of course, the Madras College can be seen here. The cleverest boy in Miss Grey's class, and no doubt in the classes in the Madras College, was called Gavin Brown. I used to sit next him at the back, in the streamed seating in class.
