St Andrews, Dutch Village
Craigtoun Country Park is a country park located approximately 4 miles to the south-west of St Andrews in the county of Fife, Scotland. The site is currently owned by Fife Council, with park amenities being operated as of 2012 by the charitable organisation Friends of Craigtoun Park. The park was originally part of the Mount Melville Estate, 47 acres (19 ha) of which was purchased by Fife County Council for £25,000 in 1947. Quoted from Wikipedia

In Scotland, this type of architecture is perceived to be Dutch, Jaap. I think this must stem from the fact that the orange pantiles that are very common in the east of Scotland came from the Netherlands. They were used as ballast, when cargo ships were returning to Scotland, after delivering goods to your neck of the woods. All the best, Joe

We were hoping to come up to Scotland and stay in central Fife this year, but the recent steep rise in positive coronavirius cases gas knocked that on the head unfortunately. We would have visited this strange little place where I've never been.
