Joe, Son of the Rock ^club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne

I first lunched here in 1973. The shop looks very different today. Yes, it's one of my favourites; good food, lovely coffee and excellent ice cream. They won the Golden Cone Award in 2014. I can remember seeing the trophy on the counter. People used to ask Owen, the ice-cream maker, to pose for a photo with them and the trophy. I have a photo HERE of Owen making ice cream.
