Thanks, Amelia. This tram has a very interesting history. It was on the Paisley to Renfrew Ferry run until it crashed through a shop window and had to have its top deck removed. As a single decker it was put on the Clydebank to Duntocher route as it could, as a single decker, pass beneath a low bridge. It then became the 'team tram' for the tram company's football team to travel to away games. When it was retired to the museum, it was given a new motor that was salvaged from a Portuguese tram.
