City Tree, Killermont Street, Glasgow
Glasgow has invested in (June 2017) two CityTrees, these have been installed on Royal Exchange Square and Killermont Street and will remain in place until Dec 2018. The CityTrees contain a plant mixture of mosses and vascular plants which provide environmental benefits and introduce additional "greening" into the city centre. Quoted from the Glasgow City Council website.

I don't see much in the way of environmental benefits being provided by those two trees, Rosa. They won't be in Glasgow long. They are being removed in December. Cheers, Joe

This is a sort of green wall installation, which can look amazing if done properly. This looks very dry. The bench also looks uncomfortable. I hate it when my feet dangle mid-air, as his are doing. ;-)

I find these two CityTrees a bit of an eyesore, Amelia. Like Rosa, I would rather see real trees. Cheers, Joe
