Anemone nemorosa island
In place called Perus, there is a small island between rapids. Every spring the white flowers of Anemone nemorosa is blooming there, cowering the forest floor with white clouds.
I found the S-curve challenge surprisingly difficult, because it was difficult to find what I was looking for: a river, road or a path forming the s-curve. It was not easy to find a curve that would be visible enough. Most often the second curve got hidden behind the flora. This was the best I could find.

My favorite forest
Picture taken in 2012
For '10-Week Picture Projects: Trees', I picked this one to represent forest. I first had great difficulties to choose what kind of trees would form my favorite forest, but then I realized it is of course pines that are closest to my heart. I love their smell and the light filtered through their canopy.
Pyynikki view tower, Tampere
My Ipernity friend Mariano suggested to give more precise, descriptive and accurate image titles. That way the images hopefully becomes noticed on global searches (e.g. Google), and brings visitors to Ipernity.
Last summer...
...I visited a place called Nautelankoski. It is a 600 meters long rapids in river Aurajoki, relatively close to Turku. It was a rainy day, but we were prepared for the weather quite well. Walking out in the nature is one of the best ways to spend summer holidays.

Camping...
...in the park. This morning when I having my daily morning walk with Clara (the dog), I saw this in Sorsapuisto park, in the middle of Tampere. Looking very professional hammock, I would say. And may have been a lovely way to sleep over. Although, there is rather busy road right behind the hill.
