In Finnish it is "ydinperhe", which has pretty much the same connotation as German "Kernfamilie".

They are wooden building blocks for kids, painted with bright colors. I used macro lens to get a strong out of focus, took two pictures, which I then combined on Snapseed Android application. To get the black background dark enough, I underexposed -1EV.

Oh, and on Snapseed there is an useful "edit selected area" feature. This turned out useful because reds game out much brighter on exposures, and therefore I had to deal with green and blue separately.
