In Main Street Stratford.
Stratford is in the Taranaki region, in New Zealand's North Island. It lies beneath the eastern slopes of Mount Taranaki/Egmont. Nearly all the streets in the settlement of Stratford are named after Shakespearean characters.
The pride of the town, the Stratford Glockenspiel, plays every day at 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 7pm. The Glockenspiel chimes and performs a short reenactment of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, You see it in the clock tower from the opposite side of the street.
