Cobblestone Heart
Macro Monday Challenge: "Joints should be our topic next week.
Tile joints in the parquet or also the joint in the brick wall.
The joint is a gap between two components or materials."
Explanation: This metal foil heart (roughly 1/2 inch or 1 cm diameter) is a leftover of wedding receptions in the Old Town Hall of Regensburg. People get married in half-hour schedules on Fridays and Saturdays. When bride and groom leave the Town Hall they are greeted by their friends and relatives throwing flower petals, rice or metal foil hearts. Sometimes there are hundreds of them caught in the cobblestone joints.
PiP 1 and 2: Alternative entries with cigarette stubs.
