Wien, Loos-Haus / Vienna, Loos House

The Loos House was built 1910-1912 by Adolf Loos in "Wiener Moderne" style and has housed the Raiffeisenbank Vienna for many years. According to contemporary sources, Emperor Francis Joseph I was very displeased with this "repulsive, unadorned counterpart". But at least as far as the portal is concerned, I don't share Emperor Franz Joseph I's opinion. The glass reflects the section Michaelertrakt of the Hofburg opposite.
