Wien, Stadtpark / Vienna, City Park
What would Vienna be without the waltzes and the waltz god Johann Strauss ? That is why a monument was erected in his honour in 1921 in the NW part of Vienna's City Park and his statue was symbolically gilded in the same way that the gold (money) of the many tourists who visit Vienna because of the waltz flushes into the coffers of the Viennese economy.
