Thank you

Dear Ipernity friends, I have reluctantly decided to leave Ipernity, as I am unable to devote sufficient time to it, as I would like. I have greatly enjoyed my time here and appreciate all the lovely and kind comment you have left under my pictures, and I have also enjoyed your beautiful galleries. I am not ill, but a lot has changed over the past few months. I am still enjoying many trips out and I post some photos on Facebook. If you feel you would like to keep in touch, please look me up on there.
Thank you again for your kind support,
Best wishes, Rosalyn ♥

Wishing you all a great new week. Sorry about my infrequent visits. Should be back on track soon.

This shot was taken just over a year ago in Ninesprings Country Park, Yeovil, Somerset. The light that day made it a magical and even more enjoyable walk.
Garden Snowdrops

My garden snowdrops are looking good, and now the daffodils are in bloom! (PiP)
Old & New

The old chicken houses and the new Restaurant at The Newt in Somerset.
Unfortunately I can't visit Ipernity as often as I would like at the moment, so visits and comments in your galleries and replies to comments in mine, may be a case of 'catch up' for a couple of weeks.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Another picture I took at the garden centre. I thought the early blossom against the backdrop of deciduous trees looked lovely on a very cold day!

Pictures taken in my garden. The first two on sunny 26th of January and the third on the 25th, which wasn't so sunny!

I hadn't heard of Carl Linnaeus before I saw the cart in this picture, at The Newt. I have added a short video of about 4 minutes long, from The Natural History Museum, if you are interested.

Cloche!

Good attention to detail in The Newt's vegetable garden. As you can see in the PiP, the cloche mimics the shape of the fruit cages.

A cafe in Bournemouth ~ I never did find the way in though! Would have been interesting! I have seen something like this in the Netherlands, but the first of its kind I have seen here.

The Viper elevated walkway at The Newt in Somerset.
Two PiPs showing the structure from below, which can only be seen in winter.
Fallow Deer

I was lucky enough to see this small herd of fallow deer, mostly Does and young Fawns. As soon as they saw me, they were quick to leave, as seen in the first PiP! Continuing the walk I saw a Buck in the distance. The photo is not great but the best I could do in the circumstances. 2nd PiP.
Better viewed large.

Walking towards The Orangery, the perfect place to sit in with a warming drink on a cold January day.
