The main image is very well composed and the light coming in through that beautiful bay window is gorgeous..............you did a super job with the exposure too, which is excellent. What a lovely spot to sit and read.

I really like the shots in the PiPs too.............all well exposed and composed with some lovely warm colours and interesting things to look at.

An interesting link too.............which I'd had a quick look at, but I've bookmarked it for a more leisurely read later.

The house was very light due to the beautiful and many windows Keith. This window was in the hall where the sculptures were on display.

As soon as we pulled up to this house I knew I would love it! There was a craft market going on in the grounds as well, which was interesting.

A lovely place to sit in the sunshine. I'm sure the are was roped off though. In Chirk Castle they place teasel heads on chairs to prevent folks from sitting down. Gracious living indeed - similar to our living room. ;-))))

I would love a window like this one Amelia....who wouldn't ;-)
This was in the hall where the art works were displayed and
nothing was roped off. The only rooms that were, were the
room that the family living there use. It has been in the same
family for over 400 years.

I don't think you would be disappointed TOZ. The lady guide we had for the house was brilliant.
There is a Handmade Christmas Market everyday there, from 14th November to 23rd December. Don't know if that's up your street or not, so could be best to go before that date if not :-)

Glorious photos but a bit much if you had live in such surroundings. I'd love to have a window seat like the one in the main photo though;-)
