A Rose (2 PiPs)
The excessive heat has put paid to a lot of flowers in the garden. The pink hydrangea is completely dried up, but the roses are coping well.
The roses pictured are from the same bush. They start off a vibrant orange colour and as they age they turn a delicate lemon colour with a hint of pink.
Please see PiPs.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Nouchetdu38 clubSunday greetings and I hope you have a great new week.
I like all the images.......but my favourite has to be the first PiP, which is stunning!
My front garden is not too bad..........it's only small and completely gravelled over and we have a dozen or so pots there which are easy to water daily. Very little is flowering in the back garden, even the buddliea have nearly died. The gladioli are still hanging in there, but not for long I suspect. Rain is possible on Wednesday............but not much and not everyone will get some!
Have a good evening Rosa..........and hopefully a cooler week!
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubMy buddleia is not doing well either. I was hoping it would rain tomorrow....I hope we all get some by Wednesday! I see there was a big fire on the Studland peninsula! Some idiot with a disposable BBQ!
I hope you also have a good evening Keith and definitely a cooler new week!!
Keith Burton club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubYeah, some rain would be brilliant............but cooler would be good as well.
I saw the fire on the news............it's difficult to believe how stupid people can be!

Your 3 shots are lovely, the 3rd one being a pure delight where I couldn't imagine seeing the same rose at 2 different ages!
They deserved to be presented at the WPD where I don't see a photo of you my friend (but you still have 8 days to participate - if you want to, of course ;)
