Thank you very much Carol. Last year I had about 10 alliums in my garden and so far this year, none of them have flowered. I think something must be eating the bulbs! Yes, I was pleased to see the foxgloves in the lovely gardens.

The Alliums in the PiP are glorious and stand out beautifully against the greenery.

Thank you Fabio. As I was leaving my house I noticed that the D5300 was very low on charge...naughty me! I was able to take 7 pictures with it and then it died :-( The Panasonic takes good close-ups but if you see my pictures uploaded today, you will see that it does not capture skies anywhere near as good as the Nikon. Of course, that could be my fault ;-))

You have captured very nicely the relief of this charming foxglove but also its softness both in texture and in colour. I really like this flower which is a guest of the mountains as well as the plains. As for the alliums, their hue is captivating!
