I love both of these images Rosa...............the dark backgrounds are superb, especially in the main image which makes the flowers stand out nicely.

The tulip is gorgeous.........beautifully lit and with lovely water droplets on the petals. The lily is equally gorgeous............also beautifully lit with lovely water droplets. It looks superb amongst the green leaves.

You really are getting good at his close up and macro stuff.

You're welcome Rosa. I hope next week will be better for you. It's lovely weather for macro work, assuming there's not much wind.............I take stuff indoors if I can.

We're not going to far at the moment either............Jackie needs a stick to get around now, so we generally find somewhere which doesn't involve too much walking for her. Luckily she's happy to sit in the sun and read a book, while I go off and take photos.........but I don't like to leave her for too long :-)

It has been lovely weather today, so I made a few rounds of the garden with the camera. It's calm out there now, but the wind did get up a bit earlier.

I'm sorry that Jackie needs a stick now. She sounds very tolerant and a good book always helps when waiting, and a bit of people watching too. Maybe she could get a few candid shots for you ;-) I hope we get a few warm and sunny days now. It will do us all a world of good.

Thanks Rosa..........it's taken a bit of persuasion to get her to use it and she was a bit self-conscious at first, but she says it helps a lot and her knee is a lot less painful provided she doesn't overdo things!

Las dos macros son muy buenas. Se nota que cada día las hacer mejor. Cada una tiene aspectos mejores que la otra, pero yo me quedo con el tulipán por su intenso color rojo-anaranjado, por su posición saliendo del ángulo inferior derecho y tomando cuerpo hacia el ángulo contrario, sus perlas de agua que le dan aspecto de frescura y su fondo negro que la hace destacar por contraste con el color de la flor. El lirio también esta bien, pero el sujeto parece que le falta hacerse, o le falta color. Miércoles saludable Rosa.

Two beautiful images here Rosa. I love the way you have captured the light on each to a different effect. On the tulip it highlights the gorgeous rich colours and is further enhanced by the dark background. The arum lily is so pure and the light makes it look like a little golden cup. I also like how the water droplets make the flowers look so fresh.
Good to see you making the most of your time at home. I hope you are feeling better now.
