We had one main presents and the n small gifts from aunties and uncles Gudrun. It was magical and very exciting...my father used to pretend to hypnotise us to sleep :-))

This old family photo is so beautiful, Rosa! It reminds me of my childhood days. How happy we were about the gifts we got.....Nowadays, children sometimes get so many gifts like computers, play stations, etc.,etc. and aren't even content sometimes. Thank you Anne. Everything seems to cost so much these days and so much of it is computer based. We had one main present and were always so pleased with it. I think we probably had the best time to be young Anne.

Adorable! Yes they get piles of gifts, now, and sort of toss them aside after a few days. This old grandma can't compete! Like you, I remember having very few gifts, but they were treasured. We didn't dare break them or lose them, because we wouldn't get a new one!

It seemed somehow extra special to me Diane. My father always let us have a Babycham on Christmas Eve and then pretend to hypnotise us to sleep.... I still used to look out of my bedroom window in Hope of catching a glimpse of Santa and the reindeers travelling through the sky ;-)
