Stamford is beautiful Andy, as is Burghley House. They were filming a Bollywood movie when we visited, so even more exciting, if somewhat unusual ;-))

Thank you for your kind comment Eric. This photo was taken on the last holiday I had with my mum. There was also a Bollywood film being captured there, which was interesting:-)

So 2 additional memories for you. Including this Bollywood film shooting, surely captivating indeed: despite its kitschiness (or perhaps because of it!), it's a spectacular cinema and very endearing, isn't it? (but I'm talking about films that are over 20 years old, like "Devdas" - I'm pretty sure you know it :-)

I haven't actually seen any Bollywood films Eric, but there were lots of young girls of Indian descent watching proceedings excitedly. They told me they were waiting to get a particular star's autograph. I hope they managed to get it. He looked very handsome from the photos they showed me :-)
