Equal? To a fly? (ink and watercolor on a collaged cardboard as substrate).
Thinking all the week on how to represent equality and couldn't get to something satisfactory. I tried the intuitive approach and found only a bird in the creases of the collaged board and a fly. But isn't this how we sometimes ponder on equality? : equal? to thaaat?

It's interesting how many words and philosophical concepts tend to defy definition today, equality being one. Art, of course, being another; I know what is art and so do you, and so does he and she, but... I'm sure if we compared notes I know we all find points were we disagree.
While I'm waxing slightly philosophical, I think that was one of the great advantages of a classical education, such as existed in bygone days; It gave folks a common lexicon and set of references for expressing concepts and exchanging ideas.
