Road Trip: Day 12

On the "Berserker Road" near Bjarnarhofn, a path reputedly built for a local farmer by a pair of Norwegian berserkers in the Saga Age, in return for the farmer's daughters in marriage. Since the farmer had only one daughter, and didn't think the berserkers could actually clear the path and fulfill the deal, he killed them as they bathed in the hot springs nearby and buried them along the path - so as not to have to settle up.
