I almost felt sorry for the guy. When people were around him, he was all in their faces about how he was a famous 1960s radical, and he'd spout off a bunch of stupid lefty talking points recycled from Back in the Day, basking in the momentary attention. And then his audience would disperse, leaving him alone and ignored and looking as bitter as one can through the detachment of a four-decade high.
