Snow Flower

Snow Flower
Amongst the gray of the mid-winter storm, a bit of brightness.

(I've been missing from ipernity for over a week - storm situations take basically all my time. But I will be back eventually.)

[Edit: We are back home and things are settling down both weather and logistics wise. Happy to be able to be on ipernity again!]

Thank you. It was a surprise! Mostly we have broken branches (full trees) down from fully wintered trees due to the storm. So I had to give this flower its due.

Thanks. And haha - I have no idea. There were two in the snow and I could tell it was from a plant there as opposed to something someone dropped from a bouquet, but not which one as everything else was either covered with snow or ice.

Yes, the freeze and the freezing rain layering ice have finally gone away. Left with lots of rain (normal for us for winter) and some wind. I'm still recouperating from the intensity of it all.
