Looks like a (yellow) beacon responsible for sending the train (here we have like rails) its speed instructions. But that's a professional deformation! As well as my inclination to always interpret even the most abstract of abstractions!
Which you have the art of extracting from your surroundings with great timing, Laura (even on a grey day ;). And in this context, who pays attention to a tiny plant, and notices that its vital determination contains that of the whole of nature? Well, you do. And you push our eyes, as often, to go beyond appearances and the superficial...
By the way: the graphic result is truly eye-catching!

Thanks, Diane. The plant is hard to see with good eyes! It's hiding and tiny - it's almost in the middle, at the edge of the red and the pavement just above the yellow. But I'm glad you like the minimalist nature of this photo - that's what it's really about anyway.

Perhaps the hiding place of the yellow submarine ?
