fyi - I am going through my contacts list and sending a personal message to all my acquaintances that are 'free' users. When people send me messages on ipernity, I get a notification through my personal e-mail. I'm hoping that the ones who haven't been here in awhile may have their interest peaked. I'm mentioning our membership owned, non-commercial status as well as things about their photos that I've enjoyed. I include a link to the page explaining about the offer that's available until May 15th (the link above).

maybe others here can do something similar. i know ipernity proper sent out an e-mail to 'free' users, but as we know, many of those may have ended up in the spam folder. besides, i care about my acquaintences photos remaining on this site for me to enjoy as well as for their benefit, so i'm taking the time.

It's worth a try, raingirl. Hopefully, non-paying users in the settings "Notifications" have not completely denied the receipt of e-mails. In any case, I wish you every success.

I renew my membership every year since 2009 and I " spent " many hours a day trying to stimulate the participation by commenting and inviting people to join their pictures in my groups and many other groups I am not administrating but the results are not always encouraging but I keep on doing this way for the moment. I forgot to say I post some pictures too of course.

I am similar, I renew, I've donated, I comment and invite people to groups etc. I think our efforts do make a difference. Everyone does the piece that they can - then the pieces all add up to our great website! Thank you for your part.

And yes, of course, our own photos!!
