Die Areuse ist mit 32 Kilometern Länge und einem Einzugsgebiet von rund 400 Quadratkilometern der Hauptfluss im Kanton Neuenburg in der Westschweiz.
Bevor sie sich durch die spektakuläre Areuseschlucht schlängelt, mündet sie bei Boudry in den Neuenburgersee.
