It's an interesting constructed fence: usually they take woodsticks of sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa), but also from Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia) because its resistance of fungus. At this image the standing-pole obviousely is made by spruce, what only will work propper as it stands rather dry - in gravel, for example, as can be seen here ... why actually do you talk such much about dogs up there??? ;-)))))
