Brighton & Hove Photoshopped & not!

One of a selection of random snaps all destined for 'The World of Bins' group. I was surprised how many times bins appear in my photos and are generally not noticed.

Opened on 22 September 1910, this is one of the oldest cinemas in the country still working as a cinema. The Historic England List entry for this building can be found at historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1380741?section=official-list-entry The pair of can-can dancer's legs were acquired in 1991 from the then recently closed Not The Moulin Rouge Theatre, Oxford. During 2023 a series of several dozen models of the animated film character Shaun the Sheep were placed at strategic points around Brighton and Hove. Each was decorated by an artist in an individual style. The project was a fund-raising event for a local hospice. The Shaun outside the Duke of York's was obviously styled with a nod to the stripey stockings on the legs on the cinema's roof.

These colourful panels were on the outside walls of the Open House pub just around the corner from Brighton's London Road railway station, in November 2023.

Noble or God - I don't know - but he doesn't have a very dignified form of transport. He remains serene and unfazed by his surroundings.
