Jackdaw - Newhaven Harbour - 01.12.2015
It's always good to see birds other than Seagulls along the coast. I think that there is a colony of Jackdaws nesting in the chalk cliffs under Newhaven Heights. Jackdaws are easily distinguished from Crows and Rooks by their almost fluffy head feathers, which make their eyes almost invisible. They are also a bit smaller than the other two species.
