A visitor to Seaford Head - 15.9.2015
I am not sure about this little bird's identity. There were two on the chalk rocks just above the beach at Splash Point, Seaford, today. It was slightly bigger than a blackbird, possibly as big as a feral pigeon. Its legs were pink. The feathers on the upper breast were a mottled grey/brown, with some of the white rising in the centre.I wondered about Grey Plovers, but they seem to have grey legs. Any thoughts?
