Bad Honningen- Schloss Arenfels
Dates back to a medieval castle from the 13th century. The castle was given its current appearance in the period from 1849 to 1855, during which it was extensively altered in the style of neo-Gothic under the direction of Cologne Cathedral architect Ernst Friedrich Zwirner . Its 365 windows, 52 doors and twelve towers gave it the nickname "Castle of the Year".
