“Fajnorka” is a high school placed at riverside of Danube. Its beautiful historical building was built in 1904 by Július Kolbenheyer. Although the design of the building is really rare in Bratislava, there are yet three another similar ones in the former Kingdom of Hungary. The building itself was built very quickly, just in one year. What is also interesting is the facade which looks like bricks but there are colorful tiles instead.
There are some fantastic historical pictures here new.historia.fajnorka.sk/historia/sk/historia/historia_uvod.foto_I.html
