'The George'

'The George'
Situated in Borough High Street, Southwark, this is London's only surviving galleried coaching inn and is now in the care of the National Trust. Shakespeare drank here and Charles Dickens, another customer, mentioned the hostelry in his novel, 'Little Dorrit'.
