last year the edges had a pink tinge to them -
perhaps that happens as the year goes on -
yesterday I walked past these -
they were buds -
today, wham !
look at me -
got the camera ?
love the elegant pleated skirts -
and splash of color in the middle ~

They do change as the flower ages........ Yours is possbly "Lil Kim" ?
The one I "inherited" here is a double that starts off pink and ends up lilac-y. ("Ardens")Its also just blooming.. and also something the bugs and gophers seem to have spared....
