.. family feeding beside the road
.. watching out for cars
.. there is another member out of the photos
.. on watch perhaps
.. every so often, he would make a noise
.. possibly alerting the ones feeding to oncoming cars ?

.. other SHC family is the one next to offices
.. who saw a squirrel and followed it
.. very curious about that thing with 4 legs and no feathers

.. a wonderful Sandhill Crane experience
.. there is nothing like seeing a SHC !
