a Camphor, mighty, strong, yet vulnerable..
to man..

hit by a car, camphor tree had bark skinned back to where sap was oozing.. all because some jerk wasn't paying attention to driving... this tree is facing my home.. way in from the street. Oh, yeah.. the guy took out a street lamp embedded in concrete! (from 2008 posting)
