Thanks for adding these two, Paul. Interesting uniforms that I haven't seen before. When I was in the CCF cadets, back in the 1960s, we were affiliated to the East Surrey Regiment. We were in WW2 itchy battle dress with Lee Enfield 303 rifles, which we charged with over Hedley Heath or Box Hill, firing blanks. We were then made to go back over the 'battlefield' picking up the brass cartridge cases!

I've added a hyperlink to the society (which I really ought to have done before) which you may find interesting. The rifles themselves are of interest to those in the know, due to their antiquity and, for their age, reliability (I believe - I didn't take it all in, I'm afraid)
