Physically .. 12 weeks now and I can help him onto the bed..(bed is high.... leg muscle isnt rebuilt so much right now) and we both slept on my bed for the first time in 3 mths on Sunday.

Spiritually.. he is very very low. Officially off leash since Monday... but that never really bothered him. Its just the whole thing has brought him down so far. Breaks my heart.

The heat index today was 130F... its vile outside... he doesnt even want to be out there.. and nor do it.

We will be ok.. isnt a choice to be otherwise.

Ohhh, I'm so sorry to hear he's depressed! He is obviously a very sensitive boy and I hope he brightens up over time. He's probably lost his confidence - as so many humans do when they go through something like that. I'm sending him some "thought-bacon" right now...lol!

WHAT? 130! Do you mean 103? That would be bad enough. I am a 65-70 degree person - too bad for me! The hottest I have ever experienced was 112, driving for a couple of hours in a car with broken A/C, and I genuinely thought I might die.

Nope 130F... the heat index with the humidity is where it makes it feel like that. The opposite is the wind chill.

We are now ramping into the over 100'sF daily.. worse (without heat index) I have done is 115F here. You just cant be outside. Despite care... I have had heat exhaustion 4 times and now get it at lower temps. I HATE OK !!!!
