I had never seen one of these till this moment. I was looking over the flowers... looking for something to film...and "something wasnt right" about the centre of this flower... and there the murderer was !

They wait for some unsuspecting butterfly or wasp or bee or anything (!!) to land.. and with their front legs/claspers grab it... bite it.. and suck the life out of it !

And yes... I did remove it after its 5 minutes of glory.. No ....I didnt kill it.. it just went "walkies" in my neighbours 15 acre jungle !

This year I am doing a 365 project here... and it has really made me SEE... not just "look". I thought I did before.. but I have learned lessons this year !

What is interesting is that everyone has a different angle on it. It IS a commitment... and at the beginning was daunting.. but now... how did it get to be October !! The hard months are to come.

I will possibly upload it when its done if my connection will stand the strain !

I was reading about them.. and they can take on .. like a chameleon... the colours of what they are on in some cases.... this one certainly did !
