An unexpected guest There is a big spruce growing by my house. The soil beneath it used to be dry and barren. Things changed lately because of frequent floods and heat. Grass and weeds grew faster than I could pull them by hand and cut with garden scissors. It's an ongoing fight... And I am loosing it. But there are some nice surprises - like this one. White hollyhocks blooming just under the spruce. Absurd and sweet :) ----- Asus Zenfone

Last Saturday huge fire in Nowa Biała, Lesser Poland (25 houses and about 50 farm buildings were burnt, people lost everything, luckily there were no fatalities, nine were injured) reminded me of those terrifying moments when the house adjacent to mine had succumbed to the same destiny.
