The Decisive Moment
(chances to repeat it and take another shot were and are minimal)
So - like every May - I brought my car to my favorite local car mechanic shop to have the vehicle checked and registered, and I was waiting for the owner's brother to drive me home. I was sitting in the shop office when I heard bits of conversations going on in the adjacent room. One of mechanics spoke about getting the boss to have his hair cut and how difficult it was catch him at his spare time (he has none!) Then I heard a female voice...
It was so intriguing that I peeked there and that's what I saw :o
So I grabbed my little camera and pleaded: "Can I take a shot of you two? Please..."
They agreed so I leaned against a door frame and clicked the shutter hoping that my faithful XA would manage exposition in spite of harsh light conditions.
And that was it. They were finished by the time when I rewound the film.
So no another shot then. And effectively no means to predict when the next session will occur.
Was it the Decisive Moment? I think so!
