There are many sand pits around Sulejówek. Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders. Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuild Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI.
I have a hard time explaining to my dog why we can't go there now.
Theoretically dog-walking is allowed but as at least a half of our municipal police
know that we have a garden large enough to accommodate any dog's needs
while in lockdown
so our options are limited ;/
