HFF and a great weekend Marta
Thank you so much!
Have a great weekend :)
HFF, have a great weekend. Herb
HFF!
Thank you so much! Enjoy your great weekend, my friends.
And please wish me patience and luck with repairing one fatally corrupted GPT harddisk - actually the same that I use to dump my digital photo stuff on. I know that data is still there but making it reachable / recovering it can take hours or even days. How frustrating!
Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Diane Putnam clubMy disk is unfortunately more messed up than I thought.
What's most annoying... I cared for it, I monitored its health looking into its S.M.A.R.T. status every day. Unfortunately my everyday monitoring tools did not caught some internal troubles lurking undetected. Only after some deeper investigation I found how fooled I was ;/
Oh well, some data is still there. But many files were partially overwritten with some garbage. I am starting to accept the fact that my recent digital photo archives are gone. Not that they were particularly valuable ;) So no big deal!

And I've already bought two heavy-duty WDC Purple disks (used for monitoring 24/7) to replace the damaged one.
