oh my gosh, the lighting on the cathedral is incredible! you can see all the details. you've done such a great job showing those off along with the carving of the wood. Excellent compositions. I enjoy them both (each for their own reasons).

i never do things like this, but for some reason i keep thinking about you removing the plane trail and putting a small flying bird in the sky instead.

Thank you Laura, I got lucky with the light that day ;-)
The carving in the picture is a 1:1 replica of the finial on top of the two spires, put in front of the cathedral to illustrate the size of the finials. Made of concrete, though, not wood.

Will think about following your suggestion with the bird, it might be fun ;-)
