Iteadstudio 'Mystery PCB' service

IteadStudio Mystery PCB

Folder: Electronics
IteadStudio offers an interesting service for printed circuit board manufacturing. Declare your design as open source and they'll make 2 extra pieces of it. These go into a pool. The next person doing the same will get two random PCBs out of that, as will you.

Iteadstudio 'Mystery PCB' service

This is what I got . I wonder who will get my boards ;-) The top one is an 'Arduino Nano V3.0'. I do have suitable ATmega168 chips, headers, probably LEDs and capacitors, but neither do I have an SMD USB receptacle nore the FTDI chip. The bottom board is a breakout for the FTDI FT232. Assembled versions can be found in their webshop. There's also a thread on the dangerousprototypes forum about this service.

I don't know what it is, but it looks quite simple. The 2nd board I got was another 'Foca V2.1'.
